Thomas Stanfield Jones was born June 27, 1846, in Roane County, Tenn., died December 11, 1923, at Sand Springs, Okla. Age 77 years, 5 months and 14 days. He was married in April 1874, to Mary Elizabeth Marney at Knoxville, Tenn., moved to. Decatur, Ark., in 1878, then moved to Oklahoma in 1893 and settled near Jones, Okla., where he engaged in the farming. business until three years ago. Then on account of failing health he moved to Sand Springs and made his home with his daughter.
Deceased was a member of the First Methodist church of Jones, Okla., and is survived by 9 children, five sons and four daughters as follows:
Hardy Jones, Nuyaka, Okla., Joe Jones, Jones, Okla., Mrs. Fred Hubbard, Chickasha, Okla., Robert Jones, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Susie Barber, Temple, Texas; Mrs. Bert Wooley, Sand Springs, Okla., Sam Jones, Sand Springs, Okla., Miss Betty Jones, Oklahoma City; William T. Jones, Jones, Okla., and. two sisters, Mrs. Mary Porter, Jersey City, N, Y., Mrs. J. W. Blair, Decatur, Ark.
His wife having preceded him in death January 24, 1910.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, December 6, from the M. E. church in Jones; burial in the 0dd Fellows' cemetery.

Thos. S. Jones Dies At Sand Springs
Thomas S. Jones, 77 years-old, and for years a resident of the Jones City community, but who had for some months been making his home with his daughter at Sand Springs died at that place Tuesday at 12 o'clock. He was the father of Joe C. Jones and Willie Jones of this place.
The body was shipped here yesterday, Thursday, and burial was made in the Odds Fellows' cemetery.
The relatives have the sympathy of all in their sad loss.
