Edwin Stanton DeGrafft was the son of John Thomas and Emily Jane (Parks) DeGrafft. He was born in Guilford Maryland, and later moved with his parents to the Massachusetts area. He married Alice Agnes Ellis and they had four children. His daughter Agnes Louise (DeGrafft) Roque is also interred with her parents. Following the death of his first wife Edwin married (Nancy) Alice Brennnan and they had two more boys. His granite marker is locate almost directly across from his parents.
