Melinda Nichole Harrison was born January 25, 1979 in Madison County and departed this life Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Berea, being 29 years of age. She was the daughter of Ralph and Katheryn Harrison of Waneta.
In addition to her parents, Nicole is also survived by a brother- LeJay Harrison of Sand Gap.
Nicole graduated from Jackson County High School in 1998, being Val Victorian of her class. She attended Eastern Kentucky University Richmond for three years. She was elected Miss Jackson County in 1998 and also Homecoming Queen in 1998. She was a member of the Kerby Knob Baptist Church.
Nicole loved animals and fishing, especially deep sea fishing.
