Fred N. Jolley
Fred N. Jolley, 104 Park Ave., Fulton, died early this morning at Hillview Hospital after a seven-month illness. He was 61.
He was born in Obion County, Tenn. Sept. 5, 1921 to Mrs. Ruth Jonakin Jolley of South Fulton and the late W. L. Jolley Sr.
Mr. Jolley was self-employed as a representative of ladies' apparel and lived here all his life. He served the United States in the armed forces and was a Shriner. He was also a member of First United Methodist Church and Cokesbury Sunday School class. He was presently serving on the church administrative board.
Survivors include his wife, Carlene Caldwell Stokes Jolley, to whom he was married 30 years; his mother; one son, Ladd Stokes, Fulton; one daughter, Susan Bostleman, Auburndale, Fla.; five grandchildren, Courtney, Troy Ladd and Buff Ellen Stokes, all of Fulton; Laurie and Fredrick Bostelman, Auburndale; one sister, Virginia Stahr, Fulton; one brother, W. L. (Billy) Jolley Sr., Fulton; five nieces, Ruth Ann Stahr Clankey, Tina Jolley Large, Pattie Jolley Dorris, Jane Green Adams and Amy Lee Stahr; and eight nephews, Steven Jolley Green, Dr. William Stahr, Dr. Greg Stahr, Dr. Ben Stahr, Andy, Mark and Jeff Stahr and John Collins Jolley.
One sister, Sarah Jane Green, preceded him in death.
Services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Hornbeck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ronald Allen and H. E. Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers and Sunday School class members will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Friends may call Hornbeck Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Tuesday.
