Larry Baker, 76 of Clear Creek, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. He was born on July 19, 1947, in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Fred and Bessie Baker. Larry was a man of great faith and served as a Deacon of Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church for many years. Larry was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather who always put his family's needs above his own.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Fred Baker; sisters, Iva Lee Fuson, Mary Ellen Mason, and Louise Miracle; as well as his friends, Jimmy Hunter and Bobby Valentine.

Larry leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Freda Baker; sons, Larry and Joanne Baker and Timothy and Tracy Baker; three grandchildren, Matthew Baker, Stephen Baker, and Savannah Baker who was his princess; brother, Willis Baker; and a host of nieces, nephews, and precious brothers and sisters in Christ.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Goodin, Rev. Waylon Hunter, and Rev. Mark Hunter presiding. Music will be provided by Barry Barton and Shirley Partin. Burial will be on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Peavley Cemetery in Clear Creek. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Brent Fuson, Gary Fuson, Arnold Fuson, James Miracle, Nick Miracle, Richard Valentine, Robert Valentine, and his grandson, Matthew Baker.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Baker Family. Light a candle of remembrance and sign the guest register at www.arnettsteele.com.
