Stephen Earl Brown, 73, of Ellettsville, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at his residence.
Born May 9, 1950 in Linton, Indiana, he was the son of Norman Earl and Grace (Kirkpatrick) Brown.
He was a truck driver at NSWC Crane retiring in 2013 after 30 years of service. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion. He attended Newark Lighthouse Church.
Surviving relatives include: one son, Craig Brown (Fiancée Amy Ringer) of Ellettsville; grandchildren, Garrett Brown, Dalton Brown, Hunter Henderson, Alex Wolfe, Brooklyn Norris and Ava Henderson; step grandchildren, Ruth Ringer and Benjamin Ringer; one God Child, Carrie Fish; his siblings, Sherry Smith, Debbie Ramsey and Tami Tipton; and several nieces nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Lynn Brown on June 14, 2023 and his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Entombment will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington.
Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Monday and 1 Hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
