Andoneo Augest Patterfritz was born on April 24, 1957, in Monroe. He was one of five children born from the union of Gorland E. and Rose M. (Marchese) Patterfritz. He attended Lincoln Elementary School and then graduated from Monroe High School with the class of 1975. He proudly served our great nation in the United States Navy. His dedication to his country and the values of honor and duty were evident throughout his life, shaping the man he became.

At the tender age of eight, Andoneo began hunting. He was so devoted and passionate he never missed a hunt throughout the rest of his life. He eagerly awaited each hunting season, finding solace and joy in the great outdoors. His love for nature led him to Northern Michigan, where he would often retreat to hunt, fish, and enjoy the serenity of the woods. This connection with nature continued throughout his life, and he delighted in observing birds and all the wonders that nature had to offer.

For forty years he worked as carpenter and roofer with numerous general contractors. When the market became more difficult, he took a position with Yangfeng where he spent the past fourteen years. In his last role he was a member of the UAW. Andoneo was a very intelligent mechanic, able to fix anything and everything that crossed his path. With his incredible talents, he approached each project with dedication and skill, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

While independent and somewhat of a loner, Andoneo treasured the companionship and love he found in small groups, especially in the warm presence of his wife Debra. They shared a beautiful journey together, having married on June 6, 1998. Their love and devotion were evident to all who knew them, serving as an inspiration to the power of a strong, enduring relationship.

Andoneo was also a proud and loving grandfather. He delighted in the laughter and joy his grandchildren brought into his life, cherishing the time spent together making memories and sharing stories. He had a remarkable sense of humor, always ready to bring a smile to the faces of those around him.

Beyond his mechanical prowess, Andoneo was a man of many diverse interests. Gardening brought him great joy, nurturing beautiful plants and creating a vibrant sanctuary around him. He had a keen eye for collecting Indian artifacts, including arrowheads, rocks, and mushrooms, appreciating the rich history and beauty they held.
