COLUMBIA - Anne S. Krauss died peacefully at her home on Monday August 5, 2013. Born on October 8, 1924 in Jeffersonville, Georgia, and residing in Columbia for the past 55 years, she was the daughter of the late John G. and Rose Faulk Slappey.
Anne was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert A. Schultz and Sidney Krauss; her daughter, Cheryl S. Hollingsworth and her son, Fred S. (Butch) Schultz. Surviving are her sons, Robert and David.
After graduating, late in her life, from the University of South Carolina with a degree in nursing Anne served the public over a 25 year career at Richland Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service to celebrate Anne's life will be held at Suber Marshall United Methodist Church, 3900 Live Oak Street, Columbia 29205 on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Jeffersonville, Georgia cemetery.
