Billy Elmo Baker, age 73, passed away on October 15, 2023 at St. Michael Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born to Wilburn and Mary Baker on January 28, 1950 in De Queen, AR.

He was a member of the King Ryder Church of Christ and was an Army Veteran. He worked in the timber industry and was a cattle rancher most of his life. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Ervin Tallant, two brothers, Jimmy Baker and Joe Bruce Baker and one sister, Margie Dean Ward.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 55 years, Anita Oglesby Baker, one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Anne Baker of Ashdown and one daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Michael Wagner of Oklahoma City, five grandchildren Avery Wagner, Canyon (Hannah) Baker, Gatlyn Baker, Kayla (Quinn) Mitchell, Allison Garner, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen, Arkansas.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., at Gravelly Cemetery in Foreman with James McRae and Audie Dawson officiating.
