Joseph Abbate, a remarkable man who touched the lives of many, peacefully passed away at the age of 91. Joseph's journey began on February 12, 1932, in Alimena Sicily, Italy, where he was born to proud parents Frank and Maria Abbate. From an early age, Joseph demonstrated an extraordinary determination and passion that would shape the course of his life.

At the tender age of seven, Joseph embarked on his career as a barber in Sicily, standing atop milk crates to reach his customers and diligently perfecting his craft. Even at such a young age, he showcased an innate talent and a strong work ethic. Joseph's early experiences instilled in him a lifelong commitment to hard work and perseverance.

At the age of 17, Joseph set sail for America, eager to pursue new opportunities and create a better life for himself. It was in this vast land that he encountered the love of his life, Maria Migliara who was also from Sicily Italy. Their paths crossed, and destiny united their hearts in a bond that would endure for 68 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a loving home and raised four wonderful children, Mary, Vivian, Frank, and Sal, who were a constant source of pride and joy for Joseph.

Joseph's legacy extended far beyond his roles as a barber, a husband, and a father. He was a godly man who embraced the Christian faith and lived his life as a testament to his unwavering belief in God's love and salvation. At every opportunity, Joseph shared the Word of God, spreading the message of hope and eternal life. His passion for Christ led him to bring many people to the knowledge of salvation, guiding them on their spiritual journeys.

Joseph's devout faith was the guiding force in his life, providing him with strength, wisdom, and a profound sense of purpose. His unwavering dedication to his Christian values shaped the way he interacted with others, always extending kindness, compassion, and a listening ear. Joseph's desire to be with his Lord and Savior for eternity was a source of great joy and anticipation, knowing that he would be reunited with his loved ones in the presence of God.

Today, as we bid farewell to Joseph Abbate, let us celebrate the incredible journey of a remarkable man who not only touched lives through his barbering skills and familial love but also through his deep commitment to sharing the message of God's love and salvation.
