Pawley's Island, South Carolina - Justin L. Holmes passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 29th at his home. He was just 21 years old. Born in Fort Lewis, Washington on March 16th, 1997, Justin was the beloved son of Terry and Pamela Holmes. He was raised in Warner Robins, Georgia where he attended Matt Arthur Elementary, Bonaire Middle School, Veterans High School, and Christ United Methodist Church. Justin relocated with his family to Pawley's Island, South Carolina in 2012. There, he was a graduate of Waccamaw High School, Class of 2015, where he was an accomplished football player. During his time on the Varsity team, Justin served as Captain and earned a spot on the 2013 All Region Football Team, was awarded Best Defensive Linebacker, and was part of the Nike Combine. After high school, he was the operator of a successful trucking company. He loved the water, boating, cooking, his dog Zeus, being the life of the party, and Alabama Football.

Justin was the light in every room. He never met a stranger and was a true gift to everyone he met. His laughter and his smile were absolutely infectious. Above all, during Justin's time on this earth, he will be remembered for his sweet, kind, loving soul who brought joy to many. He was his sisters' keepers, his mother's best friend, and his father's greatest pride and joy. Justin loved his family more than anything.

In addition to his parents, Justin is survived by his loving sister, Brittanie Holmes and her fiancé Aron White of Atlanta, Georgia; his loving sister, Salena Holmes of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; his adoring grandmother, Ella Goode of Warner Robins; and his adoring grandmother, Jessie Penny of Unadilla.
