Cathy Jean Bruce, daughter of the late Weasley Johnson and Shirley Peeveyhouse McEntire was born on July 24, 1953 in Cairo, Illinois and departed this life at her daughter's residence in Herculaneum, Missouri on January 8, 2010 at the age of 56 years.
Mrs.Bruce was an office manager for Senior Healthcare Solutions in Dexter, attended Morehouse Pentecostal Church in Morehouse, Missouri, and was a resident of Dexter formally of Sikeston, Missouri.
On June 24, 1989 she was united in Marriott Dom Bruce in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Mr. Bruce survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, baby Johnny and by one brother, Roger McEntire.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M., Sunday, January 11, 2010.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 12, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Arnold Mangus officiating.
Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery at Bloomfield, Missouri.
