Prentis Adams

Prentis "Steve" Adams, son of the late Charlie and Sadie Whitehead Adams was born on July 28, 1936, in Poe, Missouri and departed this life on March 18, 2023, at his residence in Dexter at the age of 86.
Mr. Adams was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a commercial painter for his brother, C.B. Adams, and was a member of the painter's union. He enjoyed attending auctions, gardening, and coyote hunting when he was able to, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
On December 31, 1954, he was united in marriage to Mary Britt in Hernando, Mississippi. Mrs. Adams survives of their residence in Dexter, Missouri.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter in law, Veda Adams; by three brothers, Charles "C.B." Adams, Pete Adams and Tom Adams; and by three sisters, Vivian Ellsworth, Lou Goins and Mavis Hall.
