Phillip Davis, 79 of Holden passed away December 23, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his wife, daughter and granddaughter. Born August 13, 1943 in Holden, he was the son of the late Phillip Horton Davis and Nervia Wiley Davis Rutherford. Phillip was also preceded in death by his sister Phyllis Davis Browning Gore, and his step father Earl Rutherford, and his father in law who was like a father to him Wade N Houck.
Phillip loved fishing and hunting, especially with his buddy and father figure Wade Houck. Phillip served in the US Army from 1960 – 1963.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Betty Houck Davis, daughter Jeanetta Davis, granddaughter Stephanie Davis, one sister Sharon Davis Browning, one half sister Jennifer Rutherford Jarrells, and numerous other family members.
In keeping with Phillip's wishes, he will be cremated. A private burial will be held at a later date.
