ames Joseph Haines of Boalsburg, PA passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the age of 81 in Gresham, Oregon.

He was born in Howard/Bellefonte, PA on May 10, 1941 to the late William D Haines and Freida Coble Haines of Bellefonte, PA. He was married on June 6, 1963 to Alicia Abellana Haines who precedes him in death.

He was a veteran who served in the United States Marine Corp in the 60's. He was a retiree from Cerro Metal Products in Bellefonte, PA.

Jim was an avid fisherman and hunter, and had a deep passion for photography. He was a member of the Harris Township Hunting Club and was referred to by his close neighbors as the "Mayor of Country Place". He was also a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and had a deep faith in God. He enjoyed his daily walks with Yogi, his dog.

In addition to his late wife and his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son Bernard Dean Haines, his brothers William "Buck" Haines and John Haines, his sister Donna Haines.

He is survived by his 4 daughters: Theresa Haines of Boalsburg, PA, Lisa Matthews and her husband, Bernard Matthews of Gresham, Oregon, Christine Haines of Los Angeles, CA, Brenda Aukerman and her husband David Aukerman of State College, PA and his sister, Wanda Haines of Antler, North Dakota.

He is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Alicia Aukerman of State College, PA, Altan Haines Matthews of Gresham, Oregon, Crayton James Matthews of Gresham Oregon and Amelia "Levi" Matthews of Gresham, Oregon.

He has touched many lives through his years and will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and his dog, Yogi.
