Christena "Chris" Breaux
A native of Ohio , Chris moved to the Westlake area in 1973. She was a Nursing Assistant a number of years in hospitals and nursing homes and later worked as a security guard with various companies at area refineries. Chris was a graduate of McNeese State University where she earned her Associate Degree in Computer Science.
Survivors include her children Layla Perkins and husband Thomas, Pamela Wiese and Husband Ricky, Michael Breaux, Vickie LaFleur and husband Brian, Colinda "Renee" Hantz and husband Tony; mother Thora Donaldson; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers Robert C. Donaldson and Larry E. Donaldson.
Chris was preceded in death by her father Forrest "Don" Donaldson; husband Norris Breaux; daughter Valerie Lynn Breaux and granddaughter Aimee Ivera Breaux.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in Westlake United Methodist Church . Rev. Betty Northen will officiate.
Burial will be in Westlake Memorial Cemetery .
Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 5 until 9 PM and Tuesday from 9 am at the church.
