She was married as the 1st wife of John David Aldred (1925–1995), the son of Roy E Aldred (1886–1946) and Hope Lee (Pring) Aldred (1896–1973). They were later divorced, and both remarried.
Living in Nashville, Davidson County, Bettie was 80 years old when she passed away on December 4, 2009.
Survivors included a daughter, a married Aldred son, a Tuttle grandson, two great-grandsons and cousins William F Greer and Billie Greer.
Funeral Services were held on December 7th at Woodbine Funeral Home, and burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville.
