The third (3rd) child and son of Charles "Chuck" and Mary Jane (Peters) Donohoe lived only two (2) days after birth. His mother, Mary Jane (my aunt), was RH negative. The RhoGAM vaccine for RH negative pregnant women was not available until the 1960's, several years after William was born. Sadly, the life of both he and his younger sister could have been saved if this vaccine would have been available at the time of their births.
