Erica Ann Sweetra-Wark, age 35, of North Andover formerly of Stoneham, died April 9, 2015, at Lahey Medical Center following a brief illness. Born and raised in Stoneham, she was the cherished daughter of Stephen A. and Pamela F. (Dugas) Wark. Erica graduated from Stoneham High School class of 1997 and Merrimac College class of 2001. She was a beloved teacher of seventh grade language arts at North Andover Middle School. She was extremely passionate about teaching. She had a very special way about her that allowed her to connect with all of her students. She had a love of animals, particularly her rescue bulldog Cash.


In addition to her parents, Erica is survived by her brother Jarryd Wark & his wife Sara of Wanship, Utah and her sister Hanna Wark & her fiance Michael Lombardi of Watertown. She was the granddaughter of Ernest and Frances (Harnois) Dugas and Elizabeth (Ingersoll) Wark and the late Donald Wark. She also leaves her beloved friend Jim Kronenwetter & his daughter Christy of N. Andover. Funeral services are Wednesday, April 15th at 11 A.M. in the First Congregational Church, corner of Main and Common Sts., followed by burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. Visiting hours are Tuesday, 4-8 P.M. at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MSPCA at MSPCA.org and to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, Burlington, MA at philanthropy.lahey.org.
