Pedro Antonio Cortabitarte, 49, of Boise, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, at a Boise hospital. A viewing will be Monday, Dec. 17, 2007 from 5-7 p.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, Boise Chapel, with vigil services following at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007 at 2 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Cathedral. Burial will be at Morris Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Summers Funeral Homes, Boise Chapel. The most incredible, loving person we have ever known, our dad. Born and raised in Boise, Idaho. A devoted son to Antonio and Wilma. A witty brother to Rich and Vicki. A compassionate husband to Royal. An astounding father to Anna, Pilar, Sam, Rich, Jill, Trina, Angie, Toni, Michelle, John, and Pete. A caring grandfather to Jon, Audi, Sean, Julian, Abby, and Ashley. A lighthearted friend to many. He was something to everyone. His indescribable way of showing passion for anyone lucky enough to cross his life is something of a martyr. He changed anyone willing, with his extreme amounts of love, and his obscure factual wisdom. A hero among men, a healer in times of pain, a father and leader to his children, and a lover to his wife. His place in our hearts will never be lost, he branded his love into our memories. His legacy can be remembered as a man who viewed life as a glass completely full. Not a glass half empty or half full. This was his motto to live life, with miracles occurring everyday and hope lasting for an eternity. He had a way of bringing everyone into happiness with a smile, joke, or just a kind word. We miss you and love you so much Polie! The Cortabitarte family would like to extend our most heart filled thank you to all of Pedro's friends, family, St. Luke's coworkers, and every loving person who has provided us with additional help and support through this difficult time.

*Pete, I will truly miss you! It was such a pleasure working with you over the past 11 years that I have been employed at St. Lukes. There will never be another man like you! A good, kind man with a heart as big as the universe! Rest in peace, dear, sweet man...SKC
