ARIZONA — David P. MacMillan, 57, died unexpectedly Friday Nov. 23, 2007 in Arizona. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Steele) MacMillan.

Born in Lynn, son of the late Harry & Marjorie (Lesperance) MacMillan, he grew up in Savannah Georgia and then moved back to Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. He resided in Lynn for most of his life, before moving to Arizona three months ago.

He was employed at the General Electric Co. as an Assembler for over 20 years.

He loved motorcycles and flying and was a friend of Bill W.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons David L. MacMillan of Danvers, and Douglas C. MacMillan of Malden, four brothers James MacMillan of Surprise, AZ, Kevin MacMillan of California, Terry Emmith of Saugus, & Frank Emmith of Rowley, three sisters Karen Glass of West Covina, CA, Ann Cummings of Hamilton, MA, & Chrissy Torres of San Antonio, TX, one grandson Alex MacMillan, his mother-in-law Natalie Steele-Goodwin of Lynn and several nieces and nephews.
Service Information: Funeral Services in the South Congregational Church, 60 Prospect St. Peabody Saturday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple St., Lynn. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to the South Congregational Church
