Barnesy was employed as an operator at Dyno Nobel, Port Ewen. He also worked at Feather Ridge Farms in Elizaville as the "Eggman" delivering eggs throughout the area. He was a volunteer for the Town of Esopus Public Access, assisting in broadcasting. He was the founder and coach of the original Kingston Hockey Club, and enjoyed hockey, rock and roll music, and family vacations in Ocean City, Maryland. His zest for life, laughter and continual happiness will be missed by all who were called his family and friend.
