He began his teaching career at Choctaw High School, moving to McLoud schools for a 30-plus-year span. During those years, he was a teacher, wrestling coach, and drivers ed teacher, ending as the Vice Principle at McLoud High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Leo Jr. and Tommy. Survived by two sisters, Susan and Eva; and three brothers, Bill, Rowdy, and Michael; as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.
