Daughter of Frank & Frances. She, age 12, perished in the sinking of the Titanic, along with her mother, brother and two sisters. Her father was not traveling with the family.Their bodies, if recovered, were never identified.∼Died in the Titanic sinking.∼Mathilde Lefebvre was traveling with her mother and three siblings as third class passengers on board the Titanic.
She was the daughter of Francois "Franck" Joseph Marie Lefebvre and Marie Anselme Daumont. She had seven siblings: Marie, Franck, Celina, Anselm, Jeannie, Henri and Ida.
Her father, Franck and four siblings (Marie, Franck, Celina and Anselm) immigrated to Mystic, Iowa in 1911 and sent money to France to collect the rest of the family.
Mathilde, her mother and siblings were all lost in the disaster and their bodies not recovered.∼Buried beneath the waves of the Atlantic ocean. Titanic disaster victim. There is a Cenotaph (non burial tribute monument) for her at Lefebvre Family Memorial, Find a Grave Memorial #210341749.
