Services for Sue Marie Deville Evans will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, in the Chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Grady Snider officiating. Interment will follow in Lecompte Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, and resume from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at the funeral home.
Sue Marie Deville Evans, 70, of Lecompte, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce A Evans, and parents, George Milburn Deville and Ethel Verlin Walker.
Sue retired from Safeway Grocery Store in Washington State before returning to her home state of Louisiana. At which time, she built a home in Lecompte and soon became owner and operator of Water Street Market. Sue is best remembered as a loving sister, mother, and daughter. Her true passion in life has always been helping family as well as those less fortunate.
She is survived by her three children; Kimberly Ann Frankell of Lecompte, Bruce A Evans Jr and his wife Jayme of Yelm, WA, and Andy D Evans and his wife Misty of Lecompte; six grandchildren, Selina, Jorden, Linzey, Andrew, Lindsay, and Izabella; and one great grandchild, Anabell. Sue also leaves behind three sisters: Sharon, Flo, Paula, and four brothers: Warren, George JR, Gavin and Brian, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Leslie Fielders, Andrew Evans, Lance Hammond, Michael Deville, Trinity Deville, James Johnson.
