Elizabeth Abarca 40, of the Worthington area passed away Friday, November 29th at the Sanford Hospital in Worthington, Minnesota. Her memorial service will be Wednesday at 6:00 pm December 4th at Benson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm Wednesday December 4th at Benson Funeral Home. She will be cremated prior to her memorial services.
Elizabeth Abarca Salgado was born May 8th, 1979 in Edinburg, Texas. She was the daughter of Ofelia Zuniga and Onesimo Garza. She passed away Friday, November 29th. She was a fighter. She passed away fighting for her kids, grandchildren, and husband.
Elizabeth moved to Minnesota at the age of 19 with her two daughters at the time. She had her son at 22. In 2014 Elizabeth met Ricardo and got married in 2016. She was one to always have a smile on her face and always see the good in everything. In her spare time she enjoyed being around her granddaughters, children and any positive company. Elizabeth will be dearly missed.
