I will add a fitting and heartfelt bio on Marty in the near future. My right hand, heart and soul of creative memorial tributes is unavailable at the moment to assist me in this undertaking; a very personal as well as sad tribute to one who did not deserve such a fate.

Marty was murdered on the morning of August 26, 1989 and was left lying on a sidewalk with a blanket covering him. His murderer thought that she had escaped justice, however the science of DNA proved beyond any shadow of a doubt, that she was repsonsible. Marty's murderer is serving time and may be out when she is in her late seventies. It was a hard investigation and much harder on Marty's family. We triumphed through our patient and tireless investigation, and justice has been well served. I had the privilege of starting the investigation and conducting the crime scene investigation. Our current detective was responsible for obtaining the confession from the suspect, coupled with the physical evidence I collected at the initial scene, which analyzed, sealed the succesful conclusion of this case. Teamwork and perserverance prevailed as always.

I want to give my hearfelt thanks to Nancy Kiel-Gravning, first for creating this memorial and secondly for transferring it over to me. God bless you Nancy and thank you so much, yet again

I also want to give a massive thank you to SR/KS for sponsoring Marty's memorial. God bless you my friend and thanks again!
