WANATAH -- Charles D. Arnett, 70, of Wanatah passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018. He was born February 7, 1948 to John David and Elva (Mosier) Arnett, graduated from Morgan Township High School in 1966 and served proudly as a Staff Sergeant with the U. S. Air Force. Chuck enjoyed hiking and biking with family and any activity with motorcycles. His long career as a steelworker with Bethlehem Steel was always a point of pride. On February 15, 1969 he married Diana Bower who survives along with their sons, Jason (Kris) Arnett of Jeffersonville & Tech. Sargent Kevin (Brenda) Arnett of Wright-Patterson AFB, grandchildren, Owen, Abigail and Arianna Arnett and siblings; Carolyn (Bob) Bell, Joyce (Ron) Swartz, John (Gale) Arnett, Rich (Anna) Arnett and Brian (Debbie) Born. A visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Salem United Church of Christ, Wanatah with funeral service beginning at 12 noon, Rev. Victoria Ubben officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Salem United Church of Christ.
