Patricia Ann Biringer
July 30, 1950 – June 24, 2019

Born to Mary Gill and John Biringer in Richmond Hill, Queens, New York. She is survived by her only sister, Marie Elizabeth Biringer and her beloved dog, Brandy.

She attended Our Lady of the Cenacle Elementary School in Richmond Hill, New York and attended Richmond Hill High School graduating in 1968.

Patricia was single and had no children. She worked at J.P. Stevens in New York City and lived in Woodhaven, Queens, New York.

She was co-owner with her sister, Marie Elizabeth Biringer of Automated Text Inc. from 1980-1984.

In 1985, Patricia moved to White Meadow Lake, Rockaway, New Jersey and worked as a Legal Secretary and Word Processor at the law firm of Lowenstein Sandler LLP in Roseland, New Jersey until she retired after 25 years in 2011.

She was a member St. Clement Pope and Martyr Church in Rockaway, New Jersey from 1985 until 2011. She was active in the Cursillo Group and Cornerstone Program.

Patricia Biringer was the creator, organizer and presenter of the Deadly Ink Mystery Conference for 4 years in Parsippany, New Jersey. An annual conference where she brought people together for a weekend to learn about the mystery genre, learn from published authors, listen to keynote speakers, such as Harlan Corbin, Lisa Scottoline, she conducted panels of experienced writers to share their knowledge on various aspects of mystery writing, the publishing world, legal and criminal experts, and spend a weekend of sharing about mystery writing. She authored an unpublished book.

In 2011, Patti moved with her sister to Solivita, a 55+ community in Poinciana, Florida until her death.

She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Haines City, Florida and
was involved in various clubs and groups in Solivita, such as the local neighborhood Mira Vista group, Mira Vista Ladies Luncheon Group,
the Solivita singles group, she started a mystery book club in Solivita, and was active in the Roaring Red Hatters.

Patti loved watching television, traveling when she could, especially cruising, reading mystery books and crafting, and created beautiful holiday and seasonal vine and mesh wreaths for her friends, and she was active in two card groups.

A loving, gentle person, Patricia had many health challenges, however she always thought of others first.

Patti donated her time and resources whenever possible. Her last act of love was shopping for the St. Rose of Lima Food Pantry immediately before her death.

In order to continue Patricia’s generous and loving spirit, we ask that in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the St. Rose of Lima Food Pantry, 3860 Pleasant Hill Road, Poinciana, FL 34746 in memory of Patricia Biringer.

Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at Osceola Memory Gardens, Friday, July 5, 2019, 1:00 p.m.

Patricia will be cremated and her remains will be buried in a family plot in Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, Queens, New York.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Rest in peace, Patti.
