DALE TEASLEY killed in accident near Ada, Ok.
A 44 year old Atoka electrician died when the car he was driving collided with another vehicle on state highway 3, one mile northwest of Union Valley in Pontotoc County about 6:20pm Saturday January 28, 1989.
Elmer "DALE" Teasley was pronounced dead at the scene according to a report filed at the Pontotoc Highway Patrol station.
Teasley's son, Ryan Teasley, age 13, who was a passenger in the car, was hospitalized with a head injury. He was listed in fair condition at Valley View Hospital in Ada, OK.
Teasley's wife Priscilla, was also treated for injuried and released from the hospital.
The Teasley's were traveling east and were struck by a 1974 Chevrotet pickup whose driver was unable to negotiate a curve.
Teasley was pinned inside his vehicle for approximately 30 minutes before being freed by emergency personnel from the Ada Fire Department.
