Survived by his parents, Gregg (Lark) and Caren Abell (nee Kobeszka); one brother, Wayne; four sisters, Theresa Kathleen Abell, Tracy, Angela and Susan Gericke; paternal grandparents, Ray (Charlotte) Abell; maternal grandparents, Robert (Coletta) Kobeszka; great-grandmother, Ethel Abell; two uncles, Scott (Sally) Abell and Robert Kobeszka, Jr.; one aunt, Cindy (Kevin) Houlihan; many loving cousins and friends.
Funeral services Wednesday, April 4, 10 a.m. at Rosemoor Funeral Home, 17943 South Torrence Ave., Lansing, officiated by Rev. Don Rector. Visitation Tuesday 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Interment, Holy Cross.
Phillip was a sophomore at T. F. South High School.
