Phoebe was a Loving Mother who tragically lost her only child, Vida Hamilton, to MURDER.
Little One, Vida Hamilton, was MURDERED on her 7th birthday, by her dad, Zeri Hamilton Jr. Phoebe was attacked by him as well, and left for dead.
Zeri had divorce papers in hand, at the time of the attack. He had recently been released from jail in Carson City, Orsmby, Nevada, where the family of 3 had previously been residing in a hotel across the street from the Capitol building.
Zeri had been arrested in Carson City when he threatened to kill his wife, Phoebe, with a gun. He believed Phoebe had been unfaithful. It appears the gun was either consficated or remained with Phoebe, when Zeri was arrested.
Zeri choose a hammer to MURDER his own child and attack his wife, Phoebe.
Believing he had MURDERED his family, Zero then committed SUICIDE.
It is incomprehensible that as Phoebe lay weak in the hospital, that she had her Baby Girl's body laid to rest together with the MURDERER.
Upon recovering, Phoebe returned to San Jose, residing with her Mother-In-Law, Jane Blackford Hamilton, an influential San Jose Pioneer and Teacher.
After just over 2 years time, Phoebe remarried, John Robert Foster. This was John's 2nd marriage, as well. It papers John's young son was residing with John's first wife. Phoebe and John did not have children between them.
This marriage ended in divorce and Phoebe went on to become a Practical Nurse.
