It is with great sadness the family of Ivan Prediger announces his passing on May 6th, 2015 at the age of 74 years.
Ivan is lovingly remembered by his wife Judy; son Pete (Lorna); daughter Pam (Greg) Hills; grandchildren: Maddison, Turner, Josh, Mackinley, Ben, Cooper, Peighton, Rosey, Anna; sisters: Valerie (Al) Nevin, Carolynn (Tim) Bichel and extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Frieda Prediger and his sister Velda (Roger) Broadhead.
A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 7:30 pm at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Parish, 7508 – 29 Avenue NW Edmonton. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 1:00 pm at St. Theresa's.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Sports Central or to the Stollery Children's Hospital.

Ivan Prediger was a professional ice hockey player. He was a defenseman and left handed shot. Ivan was a rough and tumble character and his penalty minutes reflect that. He never shied away from a fight and was always there to back his teammates. For that reason he had the nickname "Ivan the Terrible".
