ERICK COOLEY DEBUSK GREENSBORO Erick Cooley DeBusk, age 31, died April 20th, 2014 at the Hospice House of Brunswick. Erick was born August 10, 1982 to Rodney DeBusk and Trina Pridgen Robinson in Greensboro, NC. He relocated several years ago to Holden Beach. He always wanted to live at the coast and enjoyed fishing and painting. Over the years, before his illness, he painted several commissioned pieces and was especially good at portraits. Above all else, Erick enjoyed being with friends and family. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his parents Rodney DeBusk (Susy Wrenn) and Trina Robinson (David); sisters Tiffany Roberson (Keith) and Katy Lee, brother Jackson Lee (Natalie); nephews, Jake Roberson, Henry Lee and his niece Laura Roberson. He has numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in the US and abroad. A visitation will be held Thursday April 24th at his father's house on Tremont Drive from 6 to 9 p.m. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the coast. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, 955 Mercy Lane SE, Bolivia, NC 28422.
