Richard Gentry Allison ( CDR USN Retired) : September 22, 1946- November 13 ,2018

Richard was a proud son of the great Commonwealth Of Kentucky.

Richard's life was defined by: his childhood in Harrodsburg, Kentucky; his family: parents, Margaret and James W. and brothers and sisters; Jimmy, Sara, Bethie, Albert, Johnny, and Mary Ellen; 26 years in the Navy; a career in health care administration and marriage to Deb for 47 years.

The Wheels of Life

The wheels of life are turning so much faster. The restless hands of time pass me by.

There are dreams I'll never live to see. But as long as you believe in me I'll still feel them on the way as I take life day by day.

The wheels of time are turning so much stronger. The blues of days gone by weight me down.

Maybe love will come to rescue me and I'll never ever set you free. Like the sea runs to the shore I've come back to you once more.

And if I should have only one tomorrow, It's a lifetime if I knew I could spend that day with you. (Gino Vannelli)

I shall miss loving you. Fair winds and following seas.

Richard will be remembered for his life and service with full honors at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be announced.
