John Samuel Citro Jr. was the son of John and Nancy ((Grasso) Citro.

He was a member of Saint Theresa de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church.
He graduated from Laurel Highlands High School and from California University of Pennsylvania. He was a retired Technology Education, wood Fabrication and Driver Education Instructor in the Seneca Valley School District. He was a memberof the Pennsylvania State Education Association.
Prior to his teaching career, John worked alongside his father training Standardbred horses for harness racing in the eastern United States.

He was a talented wood craftsman and enjoyed making personalized gifts. He spent his free time working in his garden with his trusted dog Mandy by his side.
He loved hunting with his father and brothers and would always come home with a story about how "the big one got away". In resent years, his daughter Angela joined him as his hunting partner.

He married Catherine Fisher May 25, 1996 and they had one daughter, Angela.

John passed away suddenly at his home in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania on July 30, 2015.
He was laid to rest in Thomas Cemetery, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
He was remembered by friends as a real "funny guy" and he is missed by all who knew and loved him.
