Audrienne M. “Audie” Martin, 94, formerly of Hazleton, PA, passed away peacefully at Susquehanna Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, on Monday, February 5, 2018.

Born in Hazleton, PA, she was the widow of Bernard A. Martin, and the daughter of the late Alphonzo and Nellie (Ellen) Duffy Doyle.

She graduated from Hazleton High School in 1941 and received her C.A.C. Certification in 1976. She has resided in Lancaster County since 1976. Audie worked as a drug and alcohol therapist for the former St. Joseph Hospital, Vantage House, and The Terraces for 8 years. She retired from the Lancaster County Office of the Aging, where she was the director of the Millersville Senior Center. For 25 years, she served as a senior volunteer for the East Petersburg Swim Team. Audie also enjoyed shopping, going to Dewey Beach and listening to “The Island Boys” at the Rusty Rudder. She also was an “extra” for “The Molly Maguires” movie set. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and transferred her membership to St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.

She is survived by her two children, Robert B., husband of Kathleen R. Martin, East Petersburg, PA and Maureen A., wife of Robert Ulmer, Lancaster, PA; six grandchildren, Shaun Ulmer, Ryan, husband of Samantha (Moyer) Ulmer, Jena, wife of Ryan Cich, Rob Martin, Greg, husband of Noreen (Lucic) Martin, Kevin Martin, and four great-grandchildren, Kayden, Makenna, Logan Cich, and Sage Stokes. She was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Mohler.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Audrienne’s Memorial Service at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Lawrence W. Sherdel Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Final commendation and farewell will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Drums, PA at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Compassionate Care Hospice, 1513 Cedar Cliff Drive, Suite 100, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
