Omar Krishaun Fowler,
18, of Hartselle, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, in Morgan County due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Omar was born in Decatur on April 15, 1999, to his proud parents, Chris Fowler and Wakeelah Muhammad. Omar was a quiet, fun-loving, good natured young man. He enjoyed fishing, drawing, painting, basketball, spending time outdoors and with friends and family. He was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church. He was a proud 2017 graduate from Hartselle High School. Omar worked part-time at Burger King in Hartselle while he attended Calhoun Community College.

Omar is survived by his parents, Chris and Wakeelah; his older brother, Dontay Muhammad and his younger sister, Aaliyah Fowler; his paternal great- grandmother, Virginia Stroud; his paternal grandparents, William and Virgie Fowler; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charlie and Jessie Muhammad.

Visitation will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home in Decatur on Friday, Sept. 29, from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will take place at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, September 30, at 1 p.m. with inhumation in Hartselle Memory Gardens. All are invited to honor Omar and remember his kind, loving, spirit.
