Franklin Lee Adams, age 80, of Chatsworth, GA passed away at his residence on Monday, October 30, 2017.
He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents, Charles King Adams and Anna Lou Long Adams; brothers, Charles, John, Jack and Malcom Adams; and sisters, Geneva Adams Stark, Inez Adams Livernois, Lucy Adams Talley, Patricia Adams Hawkins and Margaret Adams.
Survivors include his wife of 59 ½ years, Margaret “Peg” L. Adams; sons and daughter-in-law, Steve and Cynthia Adams of Atlanta and Scott Adams of Chatsworth; daughters and son-in-law, Susan Adams Wolters and Harold Wolters of Byram Township, NJ, Sandi Adams of Madeira Beach, FL and Sharon Adams Cooper of Smyrna, GA; brother and sister-in-law, James and Jane Young Adams of Chatsworth; brother-in-law, Donald Hawkins; grandchildren, Alexus and Jeremy Bonetti, Noelle Smith, Drew Cooper, Stephen and Michelle Adams, Sara Claire and Steve Leslie, Meg Adams, Alex Adams, Zach Cooper, Andrew Wolters, Zane Adams and Michelle Wolters; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Luke Smith, Jackson and Sam Bonetti and Liam Adams and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service for Mr. Adams will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, located at 623 S Thornton Ave, Dalton, GA 30720, with Pastor John Rossing officiating. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church, Keep Chatsworth-Murray Beautiful, the Wright Hotel or charity of choice.
