Julianne "Jan" was born in Tilton, Ill., to Fannie Viola Grace Talbert and Harry Carmel Lyons, was the youngest of 10 children and a graduate of Danville HS.
She married William P. Jump and lived most of her life in Zionsville, Ind. Julie retired from Paul Harris Stores as accounts manager, then worked part time for Jean's Hallmark in Zionsville.
She is survived by all six children, Rhonda (Chuck) Hibbert, Connie Jump, Rebecca Warner, Cynthia Languell, William (Diana) Jump III, Terri Halstead; plus five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Fannie (Talbert) Lyons; nine siblings, Jim Lyons, Albert "Short" Lyons, Wilbur "Babe" Lyons, Chester Ross "Shoe" Lyons, Opal Irene (Lyons) Mikel, Dewey Lyons, Harry "Junie" Lyons, Bob Lyons and Thelma Mae (Lyons) Drullinger; and husband, William P. Jump, Jr.
A memorial gravesite service will be held later this year with cremation burial at Union Lutheran Cemetery in Zionsville, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (give.ovarian.org) to increase awareness of the symptoms and to prevent and cure ovarian cancer.
