KINSTON | Annie Mae Pike Dawson, 69, of 2197 Cobb Road passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Annie was the daughter of the late Kater Lee and Annie Belle Norris Pike. She was a 1966 graduate of South Lenoir High School and worked as a secretary/bookkeeper with Dixon Marketing for over 28 years, and receptionist for 3HC for nine years. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Garner Funeral Home and other times at her son's home, 2207 Cobb Road. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017, from the chapel of Garner Funeral Home with the Reverend Norman Davis, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Brantley Dawson, Sr. of the home; her son, Brantley "Brad" Dawson, Jr. and wife Hope; her sister, Glenda Pike Boyette; grandson, Brantley "Lee" Dawson and wife April; granddaughter, Victoria Nicole Dawson; and a great-granddaughter, Mariah Dawson, all of Kinston.
