LeROY — Jean G. Stone, 68, LeRoy, passed away Sunday evening (Jan. 5, 2014) at McLean County Nursing Home, Normal.
Jean was born March 14, 1945, in Iowa City, Iowa, daughter of Bud and Ruby Pointer Shiley. She married Lloyd Stone on Aug. 10, 1990.
Jean was a member of Victory Christian Center. She was a licensed practical nurse for OSF St. Joseph Hospital, Bloomington. She loved cooking, watching game shows and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula (Jon) Serapin, Bloomington, and two granddaughters, Heather and Amber Serapin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd Stone; and two children, Jimmy and Amy Jo Parker.
Private services will be at a later date. Arrangements are through Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington.
