Vonnie Jean Huff, 79 of Gilbert, departed this life on Friday, December 23, 2016 from Pikeville Medical center at Pikeville, KY. Born September 22, 1937 at Simon, she was the daughter of the late Noah and Pricie Cline. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Henry Huff; 3 brothers: Wonnie Lee, Everette, Billiy James Cline; 3 sisters: Sharlene Cline, Linda Faye Cline and Fredona Morgan; 2 grandsons: Clinton Dale Huff and Dillon Ray Huff. Vonnie was a member of the Spratsville Freewill Baptist Church, where she was a member of the ladies committee and enjoyed singing in the choir. Those left to love and cherish the memory of Vonnie and to mourn her passing include her 4 sons: Gary (Zola) Huff of Simon, Larry Huff of Gilbert and Johnny Huff of Gilbert, Jeremy Huff of Gilbert; daughter: Karen (Michael) Fannin of Vanceburg, KY; 6 grandsons: Brandon (Chasity) Fannin, Aren Henrycurtis Fannin, Casey Huff, Stacy Huff, Dustin “Dusty” Huff and Tanner Huff; granddaughter: Michelle (Ben) Horsley of Vanceburg, Ky; 6 great grandchildren: Timothy, Tucker, Michael, Ashton, Lily and Ambree; 2 sisters: Donna Irick of Oceana and Bonnie (Jack) Morgan of Simon; 2 brothers: Dennie (Brenda) Cline of Simon and Bennie (Carnetta) Cline of Simon; sister in law: Magdeline Cline of Oceana; she was a foster mawmaw to Debbie and Jackson; many nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to Selena Compton. Friends may gather with the family on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 after 6pm at the Spratsville Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will commence on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Cecil Johnson and Rev. Conley Goad officiating. Burial will follow in the Huff Family Cemetery at Neds Branch, Gilbert, WV. Vonnie will be carried to her final resting place by Stacy, Casey, Dusty, Tanner Huff, Brandon Fannin and Aren Fannin
