Andrew Clifford Beall, Jr. March 8, 1953- February 28, 2006 COLUMBUS, GA— Andrew Clifford Beall, Jr., 52, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at Azalea Trace Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2006 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Wilhite and Rev. Lomax Thompson officiating. A private interment will be in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 2, 2006 from 5 until 7 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus. Mr. Beall was born March 8, 1953 in Columbus, Ga., son of the late Annie Grace Howard Beall and Andrew Clifford Beall, Sr. He was a former new car sales manager for Bill Heard Chevrolet and also had worked for Carl Gregory Family of Dealers. He was a U.S. Army Veteran SP5, having received the National Defense Service Medal; Good Conduct Medal and Army Commendation Medal. He was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by brothers, Harry and Jimmie Short. Survivors include his wife, Paula Williams Beall of Columbus; daughters, Kendra Brogdon Smith and husband Christopher of Phenix City, Christina Beall of Columbus; a son, Andrew "Drew" Beall of Columbus; a sister, Jackie O'Brien and husband Lt. Col. Ret. Thomas of Columbus; brothers, Johnny Short of Albany, Ga., Micky Short of Luthersville, Md., and Larry Short of Columbus; two grandchildren, Carson Smith and Ty Smith, both of Phenix City, Al.
