Aransas Pass - Patrick Walter Banach passed away February 25, 2016. He was 69. Patrick was born in South Bend, Indiana on December 8, 1946 to Edward and Martha (Wawrzyniak) Banach. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and United States Air Force. Patrick retired after 44 years as a Communications Computer Systems Operations Supervisor and a Vehicle Operations Supervisor.

Patrick is preceded in death by his wife Karron Banach; father Henry Lombardi; brother Nicky Lombardi; brothers-in-law Everett Hill and Rogan Witty; mother-in-law Gladis Holland; and father-in-law George Holland.

Survivors include: sons: James Robinson (Rowena) of Live Oak, Texas; Jason Banach and Everett Banach, both of Aransas Pass, Texas; daughter: Ashley Banach (Matthew Todd) of Sinton, Texas; mother: Martha Lombardi of South Bend, Indiana; brother: Andy Lombardi of South Bend, Indiana; sister: Teri Sites of South Bend, Indiana; 8 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He was a hardworking man but knew how to have fun and make people laugh. Every person who met him was touched by the loving and kind hearted person that he was. He changed so many lives and forever will be missed. It's not goodbye but see you later.
