She is buried in the old unlisted Alexander family cemetery, in an unmarked grave, approx 1 mile south of the Conneross Baptist Church on the west side of SC183, Westminster Hwy. GPS Coordinates 34.708301,-83.072398.
She is NOT buried at Hanna Cemetery, Enoree, Spartanburg County, South Carolina. After her death, her husband John C. Erwin, and the children moved, to Greenville, SC where his parents lived.
This information was given verbally to Martha Jane's great granddaughter by a daughter of Martha Jane. The story of the move and the reason for the move has been repeated many times by family members who experienced the events.
