Mrs. Adams was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses and was baptized in 1941. In Mrs. Adams' later years, she began hybridizing day lilies with her son and sold new varieties of day lilies by mail order catalogs. She was a retired school teacher with the Public School Systems.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann A. Sorensen of Truman, AR, son, Phillip R. Adams of Valley Village, CA. Two grandsons also survive Mrs. Adams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilkes Aubrey Adams, parents, Jesse and Ellen Ross; and her sister, Miriam Burdine.
