Daughter of Philip Conatser and Mary Ann (Polly) Wood. Married first to Franklin Pierce (Pierce) Wood and then to Isaac Baker Howard.

Besides the children listed with graves below, she had a daughter, Mary Matilda Wood (b. 1/1875, d. aft. 1929), who married Hugh Whitman Hood. Have been told that she is buried at Smith's Chapel Cemetery, Red Boiling Springs, Macon County, TN.

After Delilah Jane Conatser's first husband, Franklin Pierce (Pierce) Wood, died (she had three children with him), she later married Isaac Baker Howard. After each of the three Wood children later married, they moved to Monroe County, KY, and two of the children ended up in Glasgow, Barren County, KY and one in Red Boiling Springs, Macon County, TN.
