TURNERS FALLS - Mrs. Rose Alma Bourbeau, 72, wife of Lionel J. Bourbeau of 56 K St., died Tuesday at Farren Memorial Hospital.

Born in Riverside, Gill, on August 8, 1895, she was the daughter of Moses and Georgianna [sic] (Roberts) Daignault. She had lived here 46 years and was a member of the Pioneer Valley Antiques Club.

Besides her husband, she leaves four sons, Leonard, John L. and Charles, all of Turners Falls, and Alderic B. of Greenfield; nine grandchildren; a great grandchild; a brother Henry Daignault of Greenfield; four sisters, Mrs. Harry Velander, Mrs. Laurence Killilea and Mrs. Emma Moylan, all of Turners Falls, and Mrs. Denise Howe of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Thursday at 8 a.m. from McCarthy Funeral Home with Requiem High Mass at 8:30 in St. Anne's Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

TURNERS FALLS - The funeral for Mrs. Rose Alma Bourbeau, 72, wife of Lionel J. Bourbeau of 56 K St., who died Tuesday was this morning from the McCarthy Funeral Home with Requiem High Mass in St. Anne's Church.

Rev. Leon Nadeau officiated. Burial was in parish cemetery. Bearers were Matthew Sulda, Russell Dion, Fred Baird and Harvey Welcome.

Rose A. Daignault was born on August 8th, 1895, in Riverside, Gill, Massachusetts, to Moses/Moise Daignault and Georgiana (Roberts) Daignault (immigrated 1872, m. 1889) both from Canada Fr.

Rose could whistle to music beautifully, and is remembered as a very pleasant lady known for her pies, especially her cherry custard pie. She was a wonderful cook. If she invited you to dinner, you were in for a treat. Rose had an knack for antiques, and glassware. Rose's grand-daughter Bev remembers Rose's big antique four poster bed, with canopy and curtains.

Rose was a member of Saint Anne's Church.
