Born to a stray cat outside my workplace. We adopted Alice and her sister Trixie at five weeks old. She gave us 14 years of happiness and was quite the character. We'd have "conversations" with her..we'd say something and she'd say something back. Very funny, loving cat. Sadly, in Dec. 2007 she had a blood clot which killed her a few days later. I think of her often. Her ashes are on my dresser next to her sister Trixie.
